Happiness is this pile of vintagy treasure!!!

The smell of old books, the texture of old linen, patterns on old china, expressions on old photographs are a few simple pleasures one could take delight in. It makes me cringe seeing people throw away such valuable vintage treasures. It's like throwing away memories and stories that these precious things behold.

Recently I came across a charity store and was so unhappy with myself for discovering it only now (living for eight years in Johannesburg). Digging into old books and documents, I discovered this pile of treasure which made me do my little happy dance. Oh! that pile of vintage sheet music. There were these random pages which were once part of some music books ages ago. The lady at the store told me that those pages were eating dust in the store for around ten years and she was planning to give them away to a recycling station.

I thanked my stars for getting them before they were recycled and immediately came up with thousands of crafty ideas (which I will share soon).
