One doesn't need to be in Paris to create Paris!!!

Dear all

Living in South Africa one is never short of good friends, good wine and good friends who love good wines!! Though I am not a serious wine lover and my knowledge is not beyond red, white and rose wine. Anyhow, my friends know that how much I love hoarding empty bottles for the sake of my thousands of craft ideas and I always get them in abundance. So, I had this empty bottle and a lovely French themed paper napkin and I was wondering how to use it in my decoupage project.

Isn't it amazing that something that would have become part of the ever-growing landfill could transform into a beautiful and lively thing, just by using some colours, tissue paper and stamps I got a beautiful artefact!

I was happy with the final result as to how all the colours; magenta, white and grey came together and the final look is so cohesive After colouring and blending which took me some time, And my favourite thing right now, the vintage French script stamp has the ability to dramatically take any project to another level.

The lovely turquoise silk saree ribbon, with the rough and unsew edges the ribbon complimented so well and looking at this beauty I kind of patted my back :).

Hope you guys love it to too and will share a new project with you all very soon.

Till then, stay creative

Love, Priya
